MEET THE CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. Michael Rauch attended the University of Vermont yet achieved his undergraduate Bachelor's Degree at Hofstra University in New York.
After discovering his true passion, he entered the renowned New York Chiropractic College in Old Brookville, NY. He graduated with honors in 1986 with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Dr. Rauch has just entered his 29th year in practice.
Dr. Rauch is a member of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society, the Canton Downtown Business Association and is a former Board of Trustees member, Vice President and had Chaired numerous committees at Temple Chayai Shalom in South Easton.
Dr. Rauch has certifications in X-ray Pathology, Extremity Adjusting, and numerous techniques including Motion Palpation Technique, Disc Distraction Technique, Activator Methods and Diversified Technique. He also provides Postural Screening for Community Service Programs and lectures to lay and professional organisations on Chiropractic Healthcare and Alternative Medicine.
Dr. Rauch conducts Peer Review and performs Independent Medical Examinations as well as offering second opinions to various organizations, fellow chiropractors and patients.
Sarah Hagedorn, LMT graduated in 2003 from Bowdoin College, and then again in 2009 from The New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts, where she learned Swedish massage, reflexology, Shiatsu, positional release, and craniosacral therapy. She has continued to study advanced craniosacral techniques for the last five years, including the talk-based therapy of somato-emotional trauma release. Sarah has been a Reiki Master and Teacher since 2012, and in Summer 2014 she added Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) to her list of skills.
Sarah's approach is both intuitive and informed, weaving anatomy and physiology together with our bodies' natural wisdom. She looks at the entire body as one functioning system, looking for the root of imbalances in the body to alleviate symptoms and create permanent shifts towards wellness.
Sarah has worked successfully with clients on their healing journeys following strokes, amputation, spinal and disc injuries, nervous system disorders, surgery, chronic pain and disease, physical and emotional trauma, depression, insomnia, and anxiety. (Please note that doctor's approval is necessary before treating some of these conditions.)
Sarah holds additional certifications as a Psychosynthesis Transformational Life Coach and teaches coaching and body awareness workshops throughout the Boston area.
